Cleaning toilets is probably the LEAST favorite chore I have!  I hate cleaning them and when you find a product that can help make it more bearable you feel like you can’t live without it.  I discovered Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush and Toilet Gel products quite awhile ago and ever since I have loved them.  So I was thrilled when I was given the products to review and share with my readers.  I have used other brushes and I have to say this one is my favorite.  The handy brush has a clip that attaches to the tank for easy use and it’s white and compact so it does not leaving behind a huge, unsightly brush behind.  The features of the brush includes an easy to use applicator that slips over the refillable pads so you don’t have to touch them.  There are max pads for tougher cleaning jobs and flushable pads for the quick cleaning jobs
You just brush away the grime and then throw away the pad, wonderful!  No storing a yucky brush.  The brush does a great job in cleaning the toilet, I had no marks left behind at all and it lathers great!

 

The toilet cleaning gels have become one of my all time favorite cleaning products.  They are so easy to use as you just snap the gel disc into the holder, position the clear end of the gel disc holder against the surface of the bowl closest to the rim, press and hold the button until it clicks to the next hole, pull dispenser back and it leaves a gel behind.  The dispenser comes with a cap to protect the remaining gels.   When you flush the toilet it freshens it again and again and I LOVE the smell.  It adds  a beautiful smell to my bathroom after every flush.  My husband loves these too, he loves how it keeps our toilet cleaner and fresh smelling and you know when a man notices it has to be good, LOL

 When my ultimate cloth came in the mail I couldn’t wait to try it out.  It did not disappoint.  I started with my tv, it was dusty and dirty.   It worked wonderfully.  Now I use it on everything, mirrors, countertops, stovetop, and much more.  After getting a good use out of it, you just throw it in the wash with bleach and voila you start over.   It feels like a super papertowel but it is much stronger, it is  MiraFiber cloth.   You don’t have to use any cleaning products with it at all.  There were also no streaks which always makes a better looking window, computer screen or tv.  The price is great at only 6.00. What a wonderful idea they had when they created the Shandle.  It has a wonderful message about washing your hands after going to the bathroom.  You stick it on the bottom of the toilet seat and teach your children to grab it instead of touching the seat.  You do need to keep it stuck on for 24 hrs before using it to give it time to stay stuck on but we have had no problems with it coming off after doing this.   There are so many germs on the toilet seat at all times (even after cleaning)  so this is a great way to minimize exposure to them. 

The shandle was very easy to install and  has been very easy to clean.  I hear my youngest yelling sometimes, “I have to wash my hands” after seeing the message.  It is truly a great visual for kids with the reminder and picture and kids love that.  I love the texture and illustration on it, makes it very cute and kid friendly. 

The Shandle encourage kids to practice healthy bathroom habits like proper hand washing, consistent seat lifting/lowering and regular flushing. In addition it provides a cleaner and easier way to lift and lower the toilet seat.

These are only a few examples of germs that are derailed by proper hand washings.

• Streptococcus: Strep throat is a contagious disease caused by the streptococcus bacteria. Strep is most commonly seen in children between the ages of 5 and 16. Although there is no perfect way to avoid strep throat infections, experts agree that washing your hands often is an excellent start.

• Staphylococcus: Staph contains over thirty different types of bacteria and is responsible for a number of illnesses. If staph is present around your kids- hand washing will go a long way to keeping it at bay.

• E.Coli: A sick child who doesn’t wash his hands after using the bathroom can spread bacteria throughout the house in a matter of seconds. Teaching kids the importance of hand washing will reduce the likelihood of germs spreading.

• Shigella Bacteria: Most common during the summer months Shigella typically affects kids 2 to 4 years old. Symptoms include cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. The infection is very contagious and can be prevented with good hand washing practices.

I received a bottle of pledge multi surface cleaner to review.  Wow, this cleaner is wonderful! You can use it anywhere.  It it streak free and antic static,  you can use it on metal, wood, glass and electronics.  It is so nice walking around your house with one cleaner and being able to clean everything!  I’m loving it!  It has a wonderful scent too, mine is rainshower and it leaves your house smelling so good!  The bottle is lightweight and easy to carry around.  You have to try this, you will love it.
